Why we drive NIO
Almost our entire fleet is NIO. Here's why we chose them, and why we're sticking with them on the way to 45 cars.
If you get into a Husby Taxi, chances are it's a NIO. That's no coincidence. Every new car we buy is one we'll own ourselves, drive every single day and stand behind in front of our customers. So the choice has to be a good one.
Built to keep rolling
A taxi covers far more kilometres than a private car, which is why the warranty matters so much to us. NIO offers a dedicated taxi warranty of 300,000 kilometres, and for cars that are on the road around the clock, that gives real peace of mind. We know the car will last, and the driver knows it's well looked after.
Our drivers like them
Our drivers spend entire shifts behind the wheel. A car that's good to drive makes a long day better, and the NIOs are well liked by the people who drive them.
Our customers like them
Just as important is how it feels in the back seat. The cars are all-electric, quiet and comfortable, whether you're heading through the city centre or out to Gardermoen.
SUV or sedan
The fleet is made up of both NIO SUVs and NIO sedans, all from 2024–2026.
On the way to 45
Today we have 36 cars, and we're aiming for 45. We're sticking with NIO, and most of the new cars will be black, like the rest of the fleet. Every now and then a white one joins too, like car number 36.
